Terms of Service

SoleMetric operates two clearly distinct offerings. By using the site, joining the founding list, or placing an optional reservation, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Retailer purchases & returns page, which are part of these terms.

• SoleMetric Match (available now): a questionnaire-first recommendation service for ready-made retail insoles. Match is not a SoleMetric store: any purchase happens on Amazon, which is the seller and controls the transaction. SoleMetric Match recommends existing ready-made retail insoles using questionnaire answers only. It does not custom-manufacture, diagnose, or use images in today’s ranking.
• SoleMetric Custom (in development): a future individually-designed product. Founding-list entries are accepted only when delivery is configured. No reservation payment link is configured; a reservation-interest choice does not take payment. No Custom pair is generally available for purchase today.

Recommendations are produced by a deterministic, rules-based system from the details you enter. They are fit suggestions from our catalog, not artificial intelligence, not a guarantee of fit, and not medical or biomechanical analysis. The accuracy of a recommendation depends on the accuracy of your answers and the retailer evidence available when the catalog was reviewed. Launch answers are processed in the browser. Selected preview files are not uploaded or analyzed, and automatic image measurement is disabled.

• SoleMetric does not accept a Match order, run a Match checkout, charge for a Match product, ship it, or provide retailer returns.
• Following a product link takes you to Amazon. Amazon or the selected third-party seller sets and controls the current product title, variant, size, price, taxes, availability, payment, delivery, support, and return terms.
• You are responsible for confirming the correct size and variant on Amazon before buying. Product-family links can open with a different size selected.
• Amazon is the seller. This link contains no Associates tag; SoleMetric does not earn from it. Confirm price, size, availability, delivery, and returns on Amazon.

No reservation payment link is configured. If the founding-list form is enabled, selecting the optional $10 reservation-interest choice records interest only and takes no payment. The future target price of $129 is a target, not a promise. Any future Custom reservation remains separate from Match and from an Amazon purchase, and its final terms require legal review before public use.

SoleMetric Match is a retail fit suggestion, not a medical device, prescribed orthotic, clinical assessment, or medical advice. SoleMetric does not diagnose from the questionnaire or endorse a retailer product as treatment. Nothing on this site is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, correct, or prevent any medical condition. If you have serious or persistent pain, an injury, diabetes-related foot concerns, circulation issues, or another medical condition, consult a qualified healthcare professional.

The usefulness of a recommendation depends on the questionnaire details you provide. Enter them carefully, review the displayed reasoning, and confirm the Amazon listing, selected size, fit guidance, warnings, and seller terms before purchasing.

The site, brand, catalog descriptions, and matching rules remain the property of SoleMetric. The information you enter remains yours, handled under the Privacy Policy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SoleMetric’s total liability for any claim arising from the site, a Match recommendation, or a Custom reservation is limited to the amount paid directly to SoleMetric for the relevant service or reservation. Amazon purchases are transactions with Amazon or the selected seller, and retailer remedies are governed by that transaction’s terms. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

We may update these terms as SoleMetric Custom moves toward launch. The version in effect when you use SoleMetric or place a reservation governs that interaction. Amazon purchases remain subject to the retailer terms shown for that transaction. Material changes are announced on this page with an updated date.
