Retailer purchases & returns

This is provisional policy language for our market-validation launch. It will be reviewed and finalized before general availability. If anything here matters to your decision, please ask us first.
The short version
SoleMetric Match recommends ready-made products sold on Amazon. SoleMetric does not take the Match order, payment, shipment, exchange, or return. Amazon and the selected seller control the terms shown for that purchase.
Amazon is the seller. This link contains no Associates tag; SoleMetric does not earn from it. Confirm price, size, availability, delivery, and returns on Amazon.
Before buying on Amazon
The retailer page is the current source of truth. Confirm:
- the exact product model, seller, size, and selected variant;
- the current price, taxes, stock status, and delivery estimate;
- whether trimming or removing the factory liner is required;
- return eligibility, return window, condition requirements, and any return cost.
Catalog observations can become outdated and a product-family link can open with a different size selected. Review the Amazon page again immediately before purchase.
Returns, exchanges, and refunds
Start a request from the order in your Amazon account or through the selected seller’s support path. The eligibility decision, instructions, label, refund method, timing, and any exchange are governed by the Amazon or seller terms attached to your transaction.
SoleMetric does not offer a separate Match trial period, free exchange, prepaid return, or refund guarantee. Do not trim, alter, or wear an insole outside until you understand the retailer’s condition requirements, because those actions may affect eligibility.
If the size or fit is wrong
Use Amazon or the selected seller’s return process for the purchased item. You can run the SoleMetric questionnaire again or contact us to discuss the recommendation, but we cannot access the Amazon order, authorize a retailer return, issue a refund, or ship a replacement.
Damage, defects, missing packages, or delivery questions
Report a damaged or defective product, missing package, late delivery, or tracking issue through Amazon or the selected seller. Preserve the packaging and take photographs if the retailer asks. SoleMetric is not the seller, carrier, manufacturer, or fulfillment provider and cannot resolve those claims on the retailer’s behalf.
Affiliate relationship
A retailer link may be an affiliate link when an Associates tag is configured. That relationship does not make SoleMetric the seller and does not give SoleMetric control over Amazon’s listing or customer-service decisions. Amazon is the seller. This link contains no Associates tag; SoleMetric does not earn from it. Confirm price, size, availability, delivery, and returns on Amazon.
SoleMetric Custom is separate
SoleMetric Custom is in development and is not the same as Match. No Custom pair is generally available for purchase today. No founding-reservation payment link is configured; any form choice records interest only. If a reservation is offered later, it is governed by the Custom reservation terms, not Amazon’s product-return process.
Where to get help
For an Amazon purchase, open the order in your Amazon account and use the retailer’s help or return controls. For a question about how SoleMetric produced a recommendation, use the contact page. Do not send payment-card information. We can explain the matcher, but we do not have authority over an Amazon order.
